I am a Professional Art Psychotherapist based in Montreal. My Taiwanese background has given me strong roots, from a very diverse and open society.
I have a fine arts background and have worked as a lighting designer for 7+ years in performance art across the globe. Although my career was very fulfilling and my enthusiasm for lighting remains, I felt a need to give and care more directly for others. As a result, I shifted my career to pursue my true calling as an art therapist.
I believe everyone has a special role to play in society, to support each other. Helping the under-represented and the less privileged members of society remains my vocation. Before becoming a professional therapist I studied social design in France, and held multiple art programs/workshops for refugees and homeless people in Paris and Taiwan. This experience cemented my desire to become an art therapist. Art is a way to share, discover, explore, and express without language barriers and keep a sacred connection between you and your art.
I welcome my clients into a safe, accepting, nurturing, cultivating, and therapeutic space where they are free to express themselves. They can expect open-mindedness, compassion and an unyielding will to support. I believe that all individuals are their own life experts. I am devoted to accompanying and serving as a witness to your journey.
